CATHEDRAL OAKS: (Contact to purchase framed prints) Shown and sold during Chautauqua Art Gallery’s virtual exhibition titled ‘Third Street Oak Trees Art Show’. These 100 year old oak trees that once graced us with their brilliant color and lush canopies are sadly no longer lining the street that welcomed me home every day. Windstorms uprooted a few of the 150 foot trees and the decision to remove all 43 oaks came into effect in December of 2020. I feel fortunate that I was able to capture their beauty and appreciate them daily; believing they’d always be there to shelter me. A percentage of each sale from the virtual exhibition was donated to the Urban Forestry Fund, raising a total of $2,341 dollars. (Read More Here)Taken on iPhone
